Terms of Service

Welcome to StreetBitez ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access and use of the StreetBitez platform, website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

1. About StreetBitez

StreetBitez is a listing and discovery platform that connects users with local street food vendors. We do not prepare, handle, sell, or deliver food products. All food and beverage offerings are the sole responsibility of the individual vendors.

StreetBitez makes no representations or warranties regarding the safety, quality, or legality of any food sold by vendors, nor do we guarantee the accuracy of vendor-provided information.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. By using StreetBitez, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. User Content

You may upload images, reviews, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your content but grant StreetBitez a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote such content for the operation of the Platform.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

5. Location Data

Information We Collect: Location data, when you choose to share it. For users, location data may be used to show nearby street food vendors on the discover map. For vendors, location data may be used to publish vendor listings and posts on the discover map.

Location sharing is optional. Users may browse the discover map without sharing their location, and vendors may manually enter an address or coordinates instead of using their device's current location.

Device Location Permissions: Location access allows users to discover nearby street food vendors and allows vendors to easily publish accurate location information for their listings or posts. Location access is optional and can be managed through your device settings at any time. Denying location access may limit certain location-based features.

Location Visibility: Vendor location information displayed on the discover map is public and visible to other users of the StreetBitez app. User location data is not publicly displayed. When users choose to share their location, it is used only to determine nearby vendors and improve map discovery.

Location Usage & Retention: We do not continuously track user location in the background. Location data is used only when location-based features are actively used within the app.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
  • Upload false, misleading, harmful, or offensive content.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or vendors.
  • Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Platform's integrity.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any conduct that harms our users, vendors, or reputation.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

StreetBitez provides the Platform "as is" and makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the Platform or any vendor information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreetBitez is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including any issues with food purchased from vendors.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The updated date will be reflected above, and continued use of the Platform indicates acceptance of the new Terms.

If you register as a vendor on StreetBitez, the following additional terms apply to you:

Platform Disclaimer

StreetBitez acts solely as a listing and discovery platform. We do not prepare, handle, or sell food products. All food and beverage offerings are the sole responsibility of the vendor.

StreetBitez makes no representations or warranties regarding:

  • The safety, quality, or legality of any food or beverage sold by vendors.
  • The accuracy of vendor-provided information.
  • Vendor compliance with health or licensing regulations.

By using the Platform, vendors acknowledge full responsibility for compliance with all applicable laws and agree that StreetBitez shall not be held liable for any incidents, losses, or damages arising from vendor operations.

Vendor Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have the authority to represent your business.
  • You must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal food, health, and business regulations.

Vendor Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration, including your name, email, business name, and a business verification image. You are responsible for keeping this information up-to-date.

Vendor Content

Vendors may upload images, descriptions, and other materials. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content:

  • Is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Does not infringe on any third-party rights.
  • Complies with all laws and regulations.

Compliance & Responsibility

Vendors must comply with all applicable food handling, health department, business licensing, and safety regulations. StreetBitez is not responsible for verifying your compliance. You acknowledge full responsibility for your business operations.

Fees and Payments

Currently, StreetBitez does not collect or process any payments directly from users or vendors. Any applicable fees will be communicated in advance and processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Vendor Indemnification

As a vendor, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StreetBitez, its affiliates, and their officers and employees from any claims or damages arising from:

  • Your business operations;
  • Your violation of laws or third-party rights;
  • Your breach of these Terms.
